When
we appealed to the visitors to this site to send
us some memorobillia that we could use, we received
the above image which led us to search for an original
document. Fortunately our search did not take too
long and, after parting with some hard earned cash,
we can now bring you the full programme from this
fixture.
Unfortunately,
Cowden were unable to progress much further in this
competition. The scoreline did not actually reflect
the match with Cowden scoring 3 exceptional goals
and Hearts scoring with 7 lucky breakaways. Surely
this is how they attained the nickname Jam Tarts
- pure Jammy.
