When
you look back over the years and read the historical
results of Cowdenbeath Football Club, there is not
a great deal of success associated with the club.
This programme is probably one of the few souvenirs
left which saw the Cowden team of that day progress
further than any other Cowden team had ever done
in a national Cup competition.
When
people talk of the game, Cowden supporters who went
to the game or watched it 'live' on Television seem
to have had a memory lapse when it comes to recalling
the actual event. The comment that "Cowden
were unlucky" constantly reminds us that in
true Cowden style - we came, we saw, we went away
again.
