When The Sun Shines

Name : Pierce Brosnan (James Bond)

Supporters Club : Universal Exports True Blue

Why Cowden? : Some people support your team 'cos they like the name, I felt I had something in common with the crowds as like me their usually 007. I had a tradition to keep up, Sean Connery once got a trial for East Fife and Roger Moore and George Lazenby were wooden actors making them ideal supporters for your two other Fife rivals Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic.

Favourite away ground : Forfar (Goldenpie)

Most difficult moment supporting Cowden : Trying to escape from Bayview, they told me it stank like that all the time but I'm sure someone was after me with nerve gas.

Best time supporting Cowden : East Fife 1 Dundee 007, Dundee 6 East Fife 0 (You're always shite twice)

Favourite Cowden players : Eric 'Jaws' Archibald, Andy 'Odd Job' Harrow and Sammy Conn for his 'Thunderball' free kicks.

Which Bond movie title most sums up Cowden fans : Never say never again (as their so loyal to their team)

Funniest moment in football : Sean Connery saying "East Fife are a real sight to see" (Easht Fife are a real shight to shee)

Last contact with a Cowden fan : The Rampant Ballboy asking me if I could arrange a date with Pussy Galore and I once bumped into club chairman Gordon McDougall who made previous appearances in 'The Man With The Golden Ears', 'The Living Headlights' as well as 'Live And Let Drive'.
